Céline Lambrechts, a distinguished Belgian textile designer, directs her creative focus towards crafting unique pieces using locally sourced wool and natural dyes. Under her label, Lamatelier, she meticulously oversees every stage of production, from the initial sorting and washing of the wool to the carding, spinning, and weaving processes. Céline’s commitment to a hands-on approach ensures that the entire journey of the wool is personally curated by her.

Céline is committed to creating holistic home textiles through mindful craftsmanship and the incorporation of local materials. This passion began during her academic years studying Interior Architecture and Textile Design in Ghent, Belgium. It was there that she discovered her love for traditional craftsmanship and sustainable materials, laying the foundation for her future label.

Her initiative From Farm To Fabric originated as her Masters Project in Textile Design and evolved into the establishment of her label Lamatelier in 2023. Céline’s creative vision is deeply rooted in the reevaluation of Belgian wool, sourced from native sheep – a fiber often underappreciated in today’s busy textile landscape. Through Lamatelier, she breathes life into her vision, creating a harmonious blend of heritage, craftsmanship, and ecological responsibility.
