About

Hi, I’m Céline Lambrechts, a Belgian textile designer dedicated to the creation of unique pieces from locally sourced wool and natural dyes. My passion for sustainable, handcrafted textiles started during my studies in Interior Architecture and Textile Design in Ghent, Belgium, where I fell in love with traditional techniques and local materials. What began as my Masters project, From Farm to Fabric, evolved into Lamatelier, which I launched in 2023. At Lamatelier, we focus on revaluing Belgian wool—a humble material often overlooked or considered waste—by transforming it into unique, meaningful interior pieces. Each creation blends heritage, craftsmanship and ecological responsibility, resulting in sustainable textiles made to last.
