Two unique interior pieces featuring a touch of indigo blue. The wall hanging is entirely handmade from local sheep’s wool and woven on a traditional loom. Afterwards, the textile is dip-dyed in a natural indigo vat, creating a landscape-inspired atmosphere. The carpet, also made from local hand-spun wool, was woven on a TC2 loom at the Industrial Museum of Ghent. This marked the first experiment with using hand-spun yarn on a semi-industrial loom. The fringes – both white and indigo – were added after weaving to complete the pieces.
