NEST
NEST is a nomadic installation at the intersection of textile and architecture. As a tactile safe space, it offers a sense of security while creating room for encounters and connection. Developed within the 2Spaces pilot project by iDrops—which supports the psychosocial well-being of young adults with cancer or chronic illness—NEST becomes a soft, welcoming shelter for dialogue.
With its quiet presence, NEST embraces all forms of exchange—spoken or unspoken: testimonials, conversations, workshops, lectures, creative sessions, readings, films, meditation, or rest. It is a place where care takes center stage. As an inviting tent-like structure, NEST reaches out to the deeply human need for safety and protection. Larger than a bed but smaller than a house, it creates it creates nearness and intimacy.
NEST is a nomadic installation in constant transformation: the textile covers and the fine wooden frame can be easily folded into a traveling package that wants to spread its wings again and again: in hospitals, museums or other projects at home or abroad.
